Nalvazhikatti is an independent, non-profit organization that works with government, the private sector, and educational institutions to provide quality education to the underprivileged children of India. Nalvazhikatti is a registered trust under The Co-operative Societies Act, 1912 with the registration no. 1085/10.

Who Are We

Nalvazhikatti was established in 2007 by Pollachi Arunbalaji with blessing of his parents, where we provided education to the children in (mainly for malaivazh makkal children) the slums, villages of Tamilnadu. Since then, the organization has grown both in scope and geographical coverage.

Over the years, the network has been expanded to various other cities vizhupuram, thiruvannamalai, krishmahar, hosur, dharmapuri, velur and now on Bangalore where like minded people wanted to replicate the experience of Nalvazhikatti. To this massive expansion of Nalvazhikatti's work has been a whole new way of approaching the education problem in India and a new way of implementing frequent workshops and programs to create a big impact.

Later, we struggled lot in getting proper educational rights and methodology in all schools as we approached and now we developing and evaluating our projects are focused in poor, marginalized and disadvantaged communities across the country with more than 100 volunteers.
