Our extended family of volunteers dedicate their time and energy to provide valuable resources to our services and programs. Their commitments through the thousands of donated hours they give help us make a difference in the life of a child.

Our volunteers come from all parts of the community, different backgrounds and a wide range of ages of every trade and profession. They are people just like YOU .

Volunteering is the essence of Nalvazhikatti. It takes nothing special to be a volunteer, except for the willingness to spend time with the children. A volunteer is one who is

• Able to spend 12 days (6 weekends in a year) with the children
• Become a mentor to a child in need
• Tutor children with learning disabilities of any age

Be a friend and be our Supporter! We depend on the support of the community to help us improve the lives of children through valuable programs and services to address their needs.

A supporter is one who stands behind in all of our activities. Persons who practically cannot take the role of volunteers can support us in all possible ways.

• Help us in preparing materials and designing activities for the Programs.
• Generate and/or contribute funds.
• Material purchase.
• Event coordination (for Programs)
• Assist with special events Help with back-office procedures
• Assist with clerical support Help pick up and deliver donated items
• Provide consulting on professional services such as grant writing, counseling
